Randstad Senior Finance is partnering with a global leader in the HVAC industry to find a high-performing Senior Finance professional for their Melbourne-based team. This is a critical role for an individual who thrives in fast-paced environments and can adapt quickly to produce high-quality outcomes.
You will join a team that embraces continuous improvement and is currently evolving its operating model to support rapid growth. Acting as a 2IC to the FP&A Manager, this role is essential for driving improved analytics and ensuring the long-term sustainability of new processes.
This role will be responsible for both high-level financial analysis and critical system integration activities. You will play a key role in providing financial guidance to operational management on important business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
Actively support system and process integration activities, including data migration, mapping, and reconciliation from legacy systems.
Provide financial analysis and reporting support for the overall portfolio across P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow.
Assist the FBP with delivery and execution of finance tasks related to M&A activities.
Collaborate across the business with Sales, Service, and international offshore finance teams.
Support the implementation and transition to a new banking services platform.
Manage the consolidation, analysis, and reporting of monthly forecasts and month-end close.
Evaluate monthly actual results for variances against Plan, Prior Year, and Prior Estimates.
Develop analytical models to assist in forecasting backlog conversion and segment profitability.
We are seeking an educated, analytical, and direct thinker who possesses high expectations for their work quality. You must be able to remain calm, resilient, and separate emotion from data when working in high-pressure environments.
Requirements:
CA or CPA qualified with 5–10 years of professional experience.
At least 4 years of experience specifically in FP&A roles.
Proficiency in SAP and advanced knowledge of financial consolidation systems (preferably HFM).
Strong understanding of US GAAP, revenue recognition, and complex budgeting/forecasting processes.
Proven experience in systems integration and managing cross-functional projects.
A solutions-focused mindset with the ability to work autonomously and manage multiple corporate deadlines.
Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex data into relevant business analysis.
